Yes, I'm in complete agreement. Remember, I'm the one that warned that racism would probably play a role in the 2008 election. You and I also agreed that Obama would make an easier target for PACs and bloggers who would launch "Swift Boat Veterans for Truth" like attacks against Obama. Hillary, on the other hand, had name recognition, was well known, and was well vented. It will be interest to see how well Obama does with the forthcoming Republican Machine attacks. Carl Rove has been consulting with the McCain Campaign, and will attempt to make the election about Obama's character by attacking him personally, rather than making the campaign about the issues. McCain doesn't have a leg to stand on when it comes to the issue, except he might be able to win on the terrorism issue using fear. Since election are won or lost from the voters hearts, rather than the voters mind, such personal attacks might very well succeed. They certainly did on John Kerry during the 2004 elections.
