But my challenged friend... Republic comes from "res publica" (that's 
latin you know? as in Latin America? hehe) and it only defines a state 
where people have impact on their government. It doesn't even require 
that all people have impact, just citizens. And we may define a citizen 
as we wish (e.g. someone who owns land, or born from a patrician 
family). So "republican" is a relatively poor description of a system.

Then I'm saddened to tell you that you are aware of very little of the

Are you being purposefully obtuse? Of course they cheered at your 
theatre, it was in the US. Go visit the rest of America and you may 
learn a few things (if you dare to stop hiding behind your dollars shield).

Cause I live in Argentina, and I love it here. Much better than both 
Denmark and US.
