The sale was canceled today. I spoke with Countrywide's attorney, and am hoping they'll accept a reasonable settlement offer from us.
I am more hopeful than I've been in some time now that we can finally get the house finished and occupy it. I was worried that the only course open to me was to declare bankruptcy. I don't want to do that, though, so hopefully I won't have to. In other news tonight, Steve got his left knee replaced while I was in court. I felt horrible that I couldn't be with him until after the surgery was over, but it turns out he felt badly that he couldn't be with me. The surgery went well, and for that I'm grateful. It was the same surgeon that replace his right hip last year. At this rate he'll have all new joints in no time. :-) Kristyne McDaniel http://www.shamrocktrails.com/legal/ http://www.mcstyles.com/ Whether you think you can, or you think you can't.... you are right. -- Henry Ford _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[EMAIL PROTECTED] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
