In interpreting what Jesus is say it is very important to put each verse 
into the overall context of God's lesson.  It would be very easy to 
misunderstand a verse given to us by Jesus/God as a reference to worldly 
things rather than spiritual wealth.  This is why I think it's dangerous 
to read God's world literally and as inerrant, because it can be 
interpreted very easily in terms of the reader need, wants, desires, 
agendas, etc, rather than God's agenda.  That is probably why we have so 
many denominations, and even branches under denominations,  within  the 
major religions.
