You need to locate where your latest Flashplayer files are.  Delete any 
older Flashplayer files.  Then you need to copy, or create a new 
symbolic link to the the new Flashplayer files.  Your new Flashplayer 
files, or symbolic links, should be placed in the plugins directory 
under the main firefox directory.  For example, if the Flashplayer files 
were installed in "/usr/lib/flash-plugin/", and your plugins directory 
was "/usr/lib/firefox-3.0, then you could create a symbolic link as follows:

ln -sf /usr/lib/flash-plugin/libflashplayer.so 
/usr/lib/firefox-3.0/plugins/libflashplayer.so
