I agree; I've seen this for years. It happens in Windows in a VM running
on my Macbook, it happens on Windows running natively on any number of
systems. But it doesn't happen on Linux in a VM on my MacBook, and it
doesn't happen in OS X.

Something in Windows doesn't ever see that the key has been released, so
it thinks it is still down.

Problems like this would surely have been fixed years ago if the source
code was open. If everyone didn't run away screaming after looking at
the code, that is. :)
