Because I have SP2 programs working fine, I too will refrain from the SP3
upgrade on my main work machine. However I plan on SP3 on a separate machine
probably with Vista on it as I may need to solve problems using that op
system. And I know there are problems. Also I plan on SP3 for any new
projects starting with a web service that will run on my own machine. As far
as I heard there are unresolved problems with SP3 and I have not heard of
resolves for them. Personally I don't even know what the problems are but
being such a big deal was made of them I feel being safe is a good idea.

Even though I image my boot HDDs weekly, I would want to perform a separate
image just before doing an update to SP3 just in case anything did go wrong.
But if something went wrong I can't take the time to fix it (revert back to
SP2) even if it a simple image recovery. So, I am styaing at SP2 for now.
