Just to clarify....if someone chooses to vote for Obama over McCain, I
certainly won't find fault with that person. McCain has many flaws.

But I've been alarmed at some of the statements from staunch Obama
supporters who think he somehow offers a great vision.

Obama is a communist at heart.

I plan to vote for McCain, to keep Obama out of the White House. I
certainly don't trust McCain to save the country. But I DO trust Obama to
wreck it.

As much as I detest Hillary's values...I would probably have voted for her
over McCain, had she won the ticket. It's astounding to me that the
Democratic party doesn't realize that three straight liberal losers (Gore,
Kerry, and now Obama) are too far to the left to win the Presidency. A more
moderate candidate in 2000/2004 surely would have beaten Bush.

Vince,

I was questioning the wisdom of Obama supporters myself not all that long
ago. However, I never was fully in the McCain camp either. I see why some
folks like him, but I do hope they'll take a closer look instead of just
buying in to the 'story' and making a knee-jerk choice.

Everyone here knows that I was a Hillary supporter. But now that Hillary is
history I made my choice between the two candidates with a real chance.

I still do not find Obama to be an ideal candidate. I am not someone that
got excited about him and swept up in the moment. I don't actually recall
being swept up by any politician... Realistically, ideal was never an option
anyway though so it was time for me to get over myself and make a considered
choice as soon as I had enough information in the hopper to decide.

I'm there now and won't be changing my mind.
