Hi Bob! Of course, your criticism is valid, some people are looking for that excuse. However you are probably too young to remember the days when we were "supposed" to call "them" colored people. Oh, swell! We had to call "them" Negroes in school, colored people to their faces and niggers amongst our friends. That is a lot of hypocrisy for a kid to come to terms with. Then in the late 60s they decided that we couldn't refer to them as "them", we couldn't say Negro or colored anymore, and it had to be "black". Now they want to change it to "African-American". I am waiting for them to just get over themselves and be one with us. I will most likely die before that happens. It isn't that they can't assimilate, is not O-man an example of assimilation? Rather, it is that the agitators and the press who worship the agitators won't let assimilation happen. All while this was going on, if you told a "Pollock Joke" the Polish kids laughed right along with the rest. I am waiting for this to happen to whatever they want to be called this week. -- Regards, Pete http://pete-theisen.com/ _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[EMAIL PROTECTED] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
