Hi Bob!

Of course, your criticism is valid, some people are looking for that 
excuse. However you are probably too young to remember the days when we 
were "supposed" to call "them" colored people.

Oh, swell! We had to call "them" Negroes in school, colored people to 
their faces and niggers amongst our friends. That is a lot of hypocrisy 
for a kid to come to terms with.

Then in the late 60s they decided that we couldn't refer to them as 
"them", we couldn't say Negro or colored anymore, and it had to be 
"black". Now they want to change it to "African-American". I am waiting 
for them to just get over themselves and be one with us. I will most 
likely die before that happens.

It isn't that they can't assimilate, is not O-man an example of 
assimilation? Rather, it is that the agitators and the press who worship 
the agitators won't let assimilation happen.

All while this was going on, if you told a "Pollock Joke" the Polish 
kids laughed right along with the rest. I am waiting for this to happen 
to whatever they want to be called this week.
