As a follow up to my last post, I did not even know there was a "To Upper" button. I have never used it. I always used UPPER() which works fine on large memo fields.
The issue for me is the error. Can anyone figure out from the error which field is causing the error? Or is it a label? I have used the report designer for hundreds of reports over the years and that is my number 1 complaint. If that is by design I don't think it is a good one.
