My rule of thumb is "am I comfortable with this" This applies to WHO I work for, WHAT am I asked to do, and WHERE do I do it. The financial benefit is secondary to all. Unlike some others here, I prefer to go without the bread and starve if necessary. I turned down a very lucrative project for a snooker hall It wasn't the "who" or the what", it was the fact that everytime I went there I felt depressed. Virtually everyone in the hall was on a social security benefit, smoking and drinking. It is not for me to make judgement on their lifestyle. But, for as long as I have the choice, I will choose MY environment where and for whom I work.
