I had the ASUS eeePC from first of the year up until mid-August (last company bought me one and I left that job). I ran w/ the Linux distro Xandros which is the default, and went with the installable KDE full desktop. KDE wasn't really necessary but it more closely matched my setup at the office so I went with it. I gotta tell ya, having a fully functional machine the size of a Bible and about two pounds sure was convenient. If I were wearing an overcoat I'm sure the thing would have fit in the pocket. I have large hands and was still able to use the small keyboard pretty well. And it could boot up *really* quick - something like 19 seconds... But that 7" screen could be a real drag, especially after a long day.... Matt Jarvis Programmer/DBA King | Retail Solutions 541-349-8512 Electronic Privacy Notice.
