Hi Mark! Around here (Sarasota, Florida), large, powerful notebooks are still available. Have they disappeared from the stores where you are? A friend of mine used to have a pair of racks in his bedroom with the equivalent of an 80s mainframe in power. Now he has a single 64 bit desktop that beats the two racks and produces next to no heat and noise. He has started to sleep in that room again! -- Regards, Pete http://pete-theisen.com/ _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[EMAIL PROTECTED] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
