Not only do I not see what all the fuss is about, but it seems like a seriously retrograde step to me.
We started off with computers that no mortal could get near and then the personal computer arrived and bang! Computing for the people. Now it's terribly convenient for the big corporations to take the real computing power back behind closed doors, as far as I can tell largely for the benefit of their own income streams. Of course we trust them to be nice, don't we boys and girls...
