The last I heard the majority of Iraqis, including the leadership of the
Iraq government, want the USA to leave Iraq. This is understandable
considering all the death and destruction that has been rained down on
their country, and the US policy that has been extremely accepting of
collateral damage. The USA staying in Iraq; although, not wanted by the
Iraqis, is the very definition of an occupation, isn't it? Can an
occupation achieve victory?

The USA leaving Iraq responsibly with dignity and honor is hardly waving
a white flag. It's not like a military that has been beaten in combat,
taken prisoner, and force to sign a peace accord. If we leave Iraq, it
will be because we don't belong their and never have, and because we
chose to leave on our own terms. LOL
