Actually this is not entirely true. You get a basic clearance that a private citizen, all things being equal, might not get, just by being elected. To get top secret clearance, however, you would have to go through a formal clearance process. Biden no doubt has that level of access--although even THAT is less access than Commander in Chief gets, just by being elected. In fact the clearance process is far more rigorous on congressional staff than it is on the politicians themselves, until you start talking about top secret access. There is no evidence that Obama ever sought or got top secret clearance; indeed, he's done literally nothing of consequence in the Senate but run for President, and campaign for communist thug Raila Odinga in Kenya. A citizen Obama would never get clearance based on his past drug abuse and ties to domestic terrorist Bill Ayers and support of Kenya's communist Prime Minister. NEVER. But elections have a way of lowering that bar, and Congress has lots of members who also would never get a clearance in a civilian context. But if elected President he'll have top secret access, despite the fact he'd never get one as a private citizen. > and somehow they let an Islamist TerroristT into that > supposedly secure body! I defy you or anybody to refute a single fact that I've shared on this august forum of open debate about his long, deep relationship with Ayers (possibly including the little writing clinic this "guy in the neighborhood" had in his living room), his relationship with Jeremiah Wright and embrace of Black Liberation Theology, about his support of Raila Odinga, about his being a member of the socialist New Party as recently as 1996, and about his lack of relevant experience to be president. I am beyond mystified that most people seem comfortable ignoring this information, and are so shockingly uncurious about who he is and how he rose so fast. And this willingness to believe against the evidence a myth that a talented, ambitious politician creates about himself, really does conjure memories of the rise of some very dangerous leaders in the past. - Bob > > -- Ed Leafe > > > > > [excessive quoting removed by server] _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[EMAIL PROTECTED] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
