The difference is that we've all developed interfaces that showed one thing on-screen and recorded another internally. While we then went ahead and fixed our bugs, implementing a corrupt electronic system that changes votes is much easier than what would have to be a kludgy mechanical one. At least with hard copies, there'd be a count that could be used to verify electronic results. -Jerry Wolper [EMAIL PROTECTED] _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[EMAIL PROTECTED] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
