It reminds me of the movie "Fun with Dick and Jane" with George Segal
and Jane Fonda when the food stamps inspector comes over to their house
to evaluate them and they're eating a glamorous, very expensive meal
complete with expensive champagne while dressed lavishly and stylishly
as well.
