It is quite weird to hear talk of US companies and their 'health and
pension' costs. Here in Australia we have national health and well organized
superannuation. Companies don’t have to provide this junk. While national
health and welfare seems to be anathema to Americans for some reason, this
is just another good reason why you should have it.

It's like giving a street bum $20.00.  Eventually he blows through it and he
needs more money.

I am not in favor of letting the car companies fold, but they have to
renegotiate their labor and pension costs or the 25 billion will last only
about 4 months.

Hi Everybody!

"But Hank did get his $700 billion, which as far as I can tell is being
dispensed with all the transparency of a Russian off shore company. Some
of that $700 billion was mine… some of it was yours … don’t you want to
know where the hell it’s going? It’s like handing money over to my
teenage daughter … not only do I not know where it’s going, but the next
day she’s standing in front of me asking for more."
