That may be true, so why pay for free health care? I pay for health insurance and I can go any time.
The key to healthcare is to drive down costs. WalMart is offering some prescriptions for 4 dollars each. I get a severe sinus infection once a year or so. I know what it is. Yet I am forced to go to a doctor to get a prescription. The doctor gives me a cheap antibiotic and in ten days I'm completely cured. Why shouldn't I have a prescription on file that allows me to fill it once a year without a doctor? That would save me at least $50.00. Now multiply that by millions of people across the country. I'm not talking about an a high-powered sulfur drug, I'm talking about penicillin or amoxicillin. There are many ways to drive down costs, we just don't have the will to do it. ************************************************* Barack Obama is not My President http://www.cafepress.com/rightwingmike --- On Fri, 11/21/08, Geoff Flight <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > From: Geoff Flight <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Subject: RE: [OT] 25 billion won't do it? > To: "'ProFox Email List'" <[email protected]> > Date: Friday, November 21, 2008, 3:52 AM > Socialized medicine actually DOES work as the majority of > countries in the > western world wil tell you.
