I'm a little older but I'm going .net. Well having said that I am but
considering going back to VFP because of the walls that c# and asp.net seem
to have. Like bloody sql server. What crap that is for simplicity.

Subject: Re: Who still using visual foxpro do developer they software?

Still using Foxpro DOS (FP2.0 !) for about 40% of my time, I do think
VFP9 is the top of the top of what we can do in developing language !!

IMHO, there are a lot to do with VFP in 'standard applications' for
standard industries or standard countries. I do a lot of work in the
industrial world (Quality management, production survey, statistics,
man-machine interface, ...) and this world needs a lot of efficiency and
fiability. That's not the best of windows. In other words, .NET is not
the future but LINUX is as soon as programming with simple tools on a
simple OS will be impossible.

BYTW, I am 54 perhaps too much to change way ...
