I have a desktop and laptop that I use for Foxpro development work. My server
is the only machine that is on scheduled backups.

At this point the desktop and laptop have the default Microsoft installation
which puts VFP under "Program files." I recently realized that the VFP samples
assume VFP is in the root of C: and that the default installation didn't let me
access the class designer unless I was logged in as administrator.

I want to setup the entire VFP system on the desktop and have it replicated on
the desktop as well as the server so there are regular backups.

At this point I have a lot of small projects in different places and need to
plug everything into a standard structure. I hope to do some larger projects
when I get up to speed. I want the configuration to facilitate sharing the
general stuff I have developed without needing to maintain multiple copies in
the different projects and on different machines.

Perhaps this should be have been posted as two different questions. The first
issue is what structure to establish. The second is how to handle
replication/synchronization. The second requirement may influence the best
approach on the first.

Any advice or URLs will be appreciated,

TIA - Joe Yoder
