        Because other editors offer lots of niceties that the VFP editor  
doesn't. And unless you are completely isolated to the point where you  
do nothing other than VFP (no HTML, no Javascript, no anything), you  
will be using another editor, and the muscle memory is a good thing.  
Switching between editors is always a pain.

        You're using "user" when I'm talking "developer". And tinkering isn't  
such a bad thing- several excellent developers began by tinkering with  
source code they found - myself included.
