Not clear what you are referring to. I understood both Geoff and Julio all too well. > A very christian action. Or was it > the > devil who used language to mislead others? No the devil uses scripture and half-truths. The latter do tend to rely on, or otherwise benefit from, language ambiguity, though. > > I saw a soul in complete bondage to the god of this world. The antecedent of "they" was "false saviors". > OTOH, do you usually loose faith and hate god whenever you are > disappointed? So why do you expect others to be any different? Because I have Christ. The others to whom I refer do not have Christ. If they had Christ, they would not need Obama. > Maybe I should state it differently. OK. > When you satisfy the desires of your flesh and then you are > disappointed, do you usually loose faith and hate god? No, I realize my faithlessness and get back on the right track as soon as I realize my error. My God is love, and He is very forgiving, even of me. Even of you, and Helio and even Obama. That's why He came in the flesh, endured our penalty and bequeathed a ministry of setting captives free. You have to experience that metanoia first, but it's there for you if you want it. Sometimes even believers get discouraged this way, usually when they are harboring secret sin and giving the Enemy a foothold in their life. Yes, I speak from experience here as much as head knowledge. > Or, when you > believe in someone, and he ends up being a false > savior/prophet/friend/person, do you usually loose faith and hate god? If I believe in God, I can't believe in any man, not even in myself. When I disappoint myself, or anyone disappoints me, I refer to Christ's blood of atonement, and his finished work on the cross, and peace is restored in my soul. The problem is the flesh and it's a nasty problem. But it's already been nailed to a cross and overcome. It's easy to forget that eternal metaphysical fact, because we live in physical bodies that are easily confounded by the tenses of verbs. > > I watched an elderly woman grovel before a man and sell her soul to > him for > > a car and a kitchen. I accept that criticism. I was however being honest about what I saw, and honest about where I'm at with it. FBOW, and FWIW. > But of course! Who ever heard of govt caring about the welfare of it's > people? Heathens! There is nothing about statism/socialism that takes care of people. It's all about power and crushing the human spirit. All its supposed benefits amount to spiritual bondage and ultimately death. It pretends to take care of the poor, in reality all it does is institutionalize their suffering and magnify their numbers. > > I'm amazed that this was not troubling to your spirit on any level. > > > > Have you no discernment? > > > And now mocking and name calling. Two points here: 1. I did not mock Geoff. I asked him if he had any discernment. A whole lot milder than what he accused me of. 2. I did not call him a name, not once, not even after he called me a fool and other choice words. Really Christian. > I'm pointing all these questionable behaviours of yours, Bob, in > order to increase your spiritual awareness and get you back in to the > path to Christ. Thanks Ricardo I'm pleasantly surprised that you care so much. ;) - Bob > _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[email protected] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
