I now see what you're trying to do to weasel out of the obvious on this one.

The fact that these folks are worshipping Obama as a kind of messiah is a
fact regardless of the scope of my definition of the term, and regardless of
your definition of the term.

They believe he will save them. They show up in droves to give him glory and
hear his Good News. They ask him personally for everything from income
guarantees to primo job benefits and a kitchen sink. Literally.

You need to knock the scales off your eyes and simply *see* what's
happening.

Watch the Hollywood videos evoking religious symbols and language. I linked
to some for your consideration. Remember the video of the kids singing an
ode to obama's "Yes We Can" slogan---that one gave my wife the creeps, she
remembers that from her youth days in Russia. Observe what's happening in
your local bookstore. Well, I guess since you're not in the states it won't
be affecting you like it is us here. But I linked to some photos of a
"Religion" section in the children's books area of a borders. All Obama
books.

Read about Black Liberation Theology---it's the backbone of the church he
attended for 20 years and would still be a member of if his pastor's sermons
hadn't gotten some circulation. It would do you well to listen to ol'
jeremiah Wright and see what his "christ" is all about.

The reality of who this guy is---and isn't---is already becoming manifest.
Unfortunately, there is now a cult following around him, and eventually
that will be mobilized in ways we thought were impossible in a free
republic. Consider:

A civilian national security force just as powerful, strong and well funded
as the US military?

Huh? In America? WTF is he talking about? Where would such a force come
from?
