Hi Matt! There is an Apache server on the Linux host OS on this box running World VistA, an EMR program written in MUMPS, a language contemporary of CPM if I understand correctly. I want The Great Satan to talk to that, listen as well. Actually, I want to run a GUI front end for the World VistA on Winders, because there aren't any for Linux. I had been wondering about SAMBA, but the Linux Guruistas are saying that SAMBA is a file sharing utility, not applicable in this situation. This is my first time with a (forced) mixed marriage so I know nothing. For what it's worth, there is another box on this router running Ubuntu 8.10. This machine can't see that one when it is running either.
