Hi Everybody!

Our PHB is floating the idea of everyone giving up $1 per hour so he can
reduce the bid on the contract renewal. That would put most everybody at
$8 per hour, a few at $9. Some workweeks have been cut to as little as 7
hours as well, just enough so they don't have to pay unemployment.

We already bring in our own toilet paper and paper towels for the
restrooms. We are also expected to take the trash home with us so they
don't have the expense of dealing with it. The AC has been broken for 6
months and they aren't going to fix it. There is AC, restroom supplies
and AC where HE works, though.

He defends himself by saying we have 401 K with company match and a
health plan we *could* buy. But who can afford it?

We have been talking about hyperinflation, but it seems that wages are
undergoing deflation. Anyone else having this stuff thrown at them?
