Hi Bob! I remember Nixon's "Wage and Price Controls". My Congressperson opined at the time that wages should go up and prices should go down. What actually happened by the middle of Carter's watch was that wages altogether stopped and prices went up. It is unclear how the rich are being socked. PHB is rich, the wage reduction is to his benefit He also saves on toilet paper, towels and trash removal. My take on the capital supply is that there hasn't been any since 1963 or so. That's when the last silver was removed from the money supply. -- Regards, Pete http://pete-theisen.com/ http://elect-pete-theisen.com/ _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[email protected] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
