Good thing that this happened in MA and not TX. In Texas, the biggest
fear people have is armed government agents on their property. They
talk about this all the time in every gun rights argument: they don't
trust the government; the government is trying to take away their guns
so that they won't be able to defend their homes against their
sinister government.
My guess is that if something like this had happened in Texas, their
would be a dead cop and lots of gun advocates cheering.
