It's not even that he can't be trusted to give a non-partisan speech. It's that he's incapable of giving a non-narcissistic cult-of-personality-feeding speech.
I mean there were questions like: * List the three most important words in the President's speech, and rank them. * What do you think the president is asking us to do? * Write yourself a letter about what you can do to help the president. And crap like that in the suggested "lesson plan" put out by the DoE in preparation for his informercial. Fortunately he's proving to be not as competent as he or his goosesteppers think he is. Unless he is rescued or killed by a catastrophe, he'll be a laughingstock lame-ducker in three years. I'm hoping and praying he makes it safe and healthy to total defeat in 2010 and 2012 and Rahm can't manufacture anymore convenient "crises" that one would not want to waste. Don't underestimate the catastrophe scenario. This swine flu thing is fishy, for example. The psychology of projection informs us that folks who cry "inside job!" the loudest (like, for example, our "green jobs" czar, who it turns out is a both Truther and an end-justifies-the-means Communist) are the ones most likely to try to pull one off. Just like those who cry "reckless spender!" and "privacy raider!" ... and man, don't we know how "hope and change" with respect to budget deficits and FISA etc. is turning out under Obama! - Bob > It's sad that we can't trust our own President to make a non-partisan > speech to the school children, but we can't. > _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[email protected] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
