May I ask why?  Let's consider Quickbooks...one icon, one program, yet 
the option to open several databases.

What's your application need for this?  Perhaps still one 
installation/application but yet you pass a parameter to the program, 
and have an icon for each of your options (which passes it's own 
specific parameter).

I'm trying to better understand so I can perhaps better advise.
