Hi Frank, thanks for your advice

You may be interested to know that I noticed your web addresses as part of
your post.
So I followed it and downloaded your optical application.
After I installed it, I tried to run the app and all I got was error C000005
Also, I could no longer run any of my own apps. It just gives a MS error.

I uninstalled, and still could not run any of my apps
I re-installed my own workstation set up, no difference
Basically, no matter what I try, I can no longer run ANY of MY vfp apps on
this workstation.
Fortunately it is only a small Asus netbook and not my main pc but I suspect
all I can do is a complete re-install of the netbook.

Any ideas ?
Sytze
