That didn't really go over as well as it reads. Any application needs to access files, security, and probably printing. Each OS has it's own mapping for those. So it is not easy to cross port, it takes work and testing. Yes it can be done! I am not saying that it is bad, but from experience it is seldom done. Sourceforge is the only spot to find cross platform SW. I see it in Bittorrents, I see it in FTP, I see it in messaging, I don't see many business apps though. -- Stephen Russell Sr. Production Systems Programmer SQL Server DBA Web and Winform Development Independent Contractor Memphis TN 901.246-0159 _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[email protected] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
