That was the point comparing M$ to ABS, was it not? All your eggs in one basket. I have been told numerous times that in C it is not as easy to port UI and calls to file structures are a PITA as well. I don't do C so I cannot vouch for the statements from a first hand experience. But the eye roll on a developer here pretty much confirms what I just said. My Q. was How hard is it to port a UI from Win32 to Linux in a base app in C. The facial expression said it all. Yes it can be done but he wants to separate everything between the two.
