Someone should do a study on whether anything more than the windows firewall is actually necessary behind a cable router.
I have never had any hacks (that I know of) into my clients systems, but I've had plenty of firewalls installed by clients screw up. Kaspersky, McAfee and Zone Alarm has screwed over many clients. When I install a system, I install AVG antivirus and I install Windows Firewall.
