You lost me there, Publius. What if CO2 as well as all of the other 
greenhouse gases really are altering the planet. Our political freedoms, 
etc. won't amount to a hill of beans if the huge populations around the 
world are displaced by flooding due to rising sea levels and crop loses from 
changing wind patterns (continuous drought or heavy monsoons).
