The same problem existed with Vista and I read somewhere that there was a method of logging on as 'root' which actually gave you control over your computer - unlike admininstrator which is not how we interpret the meaning of the word. IM not sure now how this is done. Im curious tho... how do u need to uninstall anything if you started from a fresh formatted install??
