It's only stupid until you realize it's on purpose, then you realize
its insidious. First, it's a distraction from the real news, which is
the economy continues to tank unabated by the trillions they extorted
from all living and future taxpayers last year. Let's blame the
bankers, as if the politicians had nothing to do with the boondoggle!
Second, it's aimed at destroying the free market from the top down.
He's in the process of systematically taking over the banking system,
which is what communists do first when they get power. It's an old
playbook that always ends in disaster, but that never discourages them
from trying again and again and again.

"It ought never to be forgotten, that a firm union of this country,
under an efficient government, will probably be an increasing object
of jealousy to more than one nation of Europe; and that enterprises to
subvert it will sometimes originate in the intrigues of foreign
powers, and will seldom fail to be patronized and abetted by some of
them. Its preservation, therefore ought in no case that can be
avoided, to be committed to the guardianship of any but those whose
situation will uniformly beget an immediate interest in the faithful
and vigilant performance of the trust." [Federalist Papers #59]
