I wouldn't get too excited about that idea, Mike. He can still do a
lot of damage via the courts, executive orders, and purging the
federal bureaucracies and loading it with unionized lunatics that no
future Republican president can even fire (and who will actively work
against him/her, like certain agents in the CIA and State Department
did against Bush), over the next 3 years.

All it means is we can prevent a few of the wilder things he's doing
in the open. Only if Republicans take both houses of Congress in
November can we effectively neuter his efforts to "fundamentally
transform America" into his Alinsky-style thugocracy, and even by then
a lot of damage has been done by the front loading of all this
pointless debt.

Just denying him a supermajority only makes it somewhat harder for
him. Actually it was good he had it for a little bit, so the people
can see just what a lying sack of shit he is about transparency and
openness and non-partisanship. But now he has to be stopped cold, and
we are still a ways from being able to do that.
