No, Delphi and C++ Builder 2010 also support development of
touch/gesture applications. I've long been a fan of Delphi and the
latest version rocks. WPF, recall, builds on top of DirectX, which is
COM-based.

Delphi/C++ Builder have changed names/owners like most people change
their underwear since MS stole Anders Heljsberg et al., but the
quality of the engineering remains high despite the odds against them.
