Actually they werent. Congress passed laws to specifically authorise it and everyone pretended Bussh hadnt broken the law. It was a pathetic exampls of how you americans tolerated that fool. He broke the law, probably the constitution and you lot said 'yes its ok that yyou can spy on ANYONE YOU WANT without recourse to the law'. You deserve what you tolerate.
