Why do you feel that it is grabbing so much in resources?

Do you have any tools that point to the product consuming either CPU
Cycles or memory?

I had AVG and got rid of that about a year ago.  Felt that Kaspersky
was leaner and much meaner with respect to web pages and inbound
email.
