There is a tool that is supposed to clean up the profile but it didn't work.
There is also a method of joining the SBS on a browser but it's not that
either.
The problem seems to exist on PC's that were on the domain and now have a
new server with the same setup. Its also odd that If I turn the pc's on and
come back later it is no problem. So It seems to be a time based XP bug. And
it does not happen with freshly installed XP either. I guess it takes time
for the SBS server to send the browser out. It must be to do with the
profiles on the machine and I would have thought the suggestion to remove
the PC from the machine and put it back would work but I'm reluctant to lose
data doing so.

If I remember you have to run some sort of tool on the XP machines to
join them to the domain, when in an SBS setup.
