As I feared when you do this you lose all the setting including email
setting and msn, Skype the lot. A right B pain in the A.
I did it with one PC but the other can wait until I reinstall windows

Remove the client from the domain. (put it into a workgroup?) 
Open the IE browser and go http://your_sbs_server/connectcomputer
This will connect the client and run the wizard.
