Thanks for passing these on.

Your second program fails at the same spot:

.documents.Add()

with the same error "Could not open macro storage", using Word 97 in VFP 9 
SP 1 running in Windows 7 using a Domain Administrator account.

I guess the next step will be to try it with Office/Word 2003 (which I 
abhor but do have). Unless you or anyone else have any thoughts.
