What I want is along the lines of a desktop replacement so the 17" systems
are more what I'm looking for.
The backlit keyboard is a plus... until my wife sees it, then she'll want
one.  lol

The Vostro 3700 would be a good choice, I think. But only as a desktop
replacement - it´s too big and heavy.

I like the 3300 because it´s small, light and fast enough. Way better than a
netbook and almost as small. The dedicated graphics card is entry level but
it´s fast enough for most office applications.
