I do everything on my 13" MacBook. I run VM's for Ubuntu Linux and Windows
Vista and
7. I do almost all my development under Ubuntu, but I run the Windows VM's for
deploying and testing. I do almost all personal stuff on the Mac.

Whether I'm working or playing, at home or elsewhere, I always have my system
with me.

I commit my code and important personal stuff daily to a Subversion repository
which
lives on my server in a datacenter in Los Angeles.

I put the laptop to sleep at night but it is scheduled to wake up at 4am to get
an
rsync backup of everything that's important on the server. And at 6am it wakes
me up
with either KQED or Radio Paradise (I let it choose at random).

Paul
