I have a computer which is secured to the best of my ability, and my neighbour has one that is insecure and loaded with malware. Through some zero-day exploit, for which there is no current fix, my computer gets infected without any user action on my part or anyone else's. Am I then an accessory in some way and liable to have my PC confiscated along with my neighbour's when the computer police kick the door in ?
