no, I've gone through Task Manager and do not see any strange processes
running and/or taking up loads of memory/cpu.
I'm not sure what you mean by "a victim of your own antiviruses ". I
only have one antivirus on this PC and it has never caused any kind of
slow down (if that's what you meant).
