Up to a point you are right. So long as *I* have the choice about this "new usability". But if I don't need the new features I don't see why would I go to the expense of upgrading (unless, of course, I'm forced by the classic M$ maneuver). > >> Until you are not allowed to use ruby with .Net any more. Then why would I bother with .Net in the first place? Only for the GUI? Are you saying GUI is the only thing .Net is good for? And if you are not saying that, then it means I'll be using .Net specific code *inside* my business layer too. And probably my db layer will also use some .Net, no matter how decoupled it is from the other two layers (unless you are suggesting a whole new layer just for the use of .Net specific stuff, which I think would be silly). So I´ll eventually be in a world of pain as I had originally described. _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[email protected] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
